SME Student Chapter S340 

Our SME chapter was formed in 2001 by students in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program.  Student leaders of the chapter, together with SME student members, plan and organize monthly activities.

Engine rebuild at Dennison during tour for Okanagan College Mechanical engineering students      The primary goal is to be involved actively with industry - to visit local engineering and manufacturing companies, learn more about job opportunities, and meet and talk with practising engineers and technologists.  Students make valuable contacts, and gain knowledge that reflects the viewpoint of current practioners.
