Sterile Processing and Distribution Certificate

With its focus on prevention, this 26-week program prepares you for a career combating micro-organisms, creating safe and hygienic environments for patients.

You will gain a comprehensive knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control, cleaning, sterilization, the handling and storage of sterile supplies and decontamination procedures. A 400-hour practicum in a hospital setting allows you to apply your learning while gaining valuable work experience.

Graduates are eligible for certification with the International Association of Health Care Central Service Material Management.
