Awards & Achievements

Students in the Culinary programs at Okanagan College are given every opportunity to compete at local and provincial levels in both hot & cold work.Our most recent medal was won in the skills Canada BC held at BC Place in Vancouver in the Spring of 2002.

Student successes in recent years include medals at all levels in the following categories:

  • Showpieces
  • Plated desserts
  • Wedding cake
  • Terrines
  • Buffet platters fo 8
  • Buffet platters for 2 & 4
  • Six hot plates
  • Individual and team events at regional hot food competitions
