On-Campus Employment

Full time students at Okanagan College (in a minimum of 3 courses per semester) with a valid study permit, do not need a work permit to be employed on-campus. There are various positions but these are usually very competitive due to the number of students applying.

Full time student status is not required for on-campus work over the summer (May-August).  For those who studied full time in the preceding Winter semester and intend to return to full time studies in the Fall semester. After a written job offer is received, and before beginning in work, it is necessary to obtain a Canadian Social Insurance Number.
