Scholarships Awarded to OC International Students

Congratulations to all Okanagan College scholarship and award recipients!

Chien Hung (William) Lai, from Taiwan, was one of this years recipients of the Katherine W. Oliver Memorial Scholarship. The $1,400 scholarship is awarded annually to the student with the highest marks in first year chemistry.

Joanne Longson, from England, received the CIBC Wood Gundy Award, a $500 scholarship awarded to a student studying in the finance or business field. The award is based on academic achievement.

OC Academic Achievement Awards are awarded after the fall and winter terms to the top 50 students at Okanagan College, based on highest grade average for a minimum 80% course load.
