Co-op Work Program

Classroom instruction by itself cannot always provide students with the knowledge they need to ensure a successful career. Additional knowledge must be acquired through experience and "hands-on" involvement in the working environment where the student can apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to real-life situations. Co-op addresses this educational need by providing alternate periods of academic study and paid work terms.

International students who satisfy the eligibility criteria will have an opportunity to gain valuable work experience by participating in paid co-op work terms. Such experience increases students’ employment opportunities and their value to their employers upon graduation.

Co-operative Education is a three way partnership between students, employers and OC, combining a student's academic terms with paid work terms. Explore this section of our site to find:
