International Student Entrance Award Scholarship

Okanagan College invites international students who are attending high school in British Columbia or Alberta to apply for further study at its campuses in Kelowna, Penticton, Salmon Arm and Vernon. Available options range from English as a Second Language programs to a variety of degree, diploma and certificate programs.

Eligibility:

• proof of graduation from a secondary school within British Columbia or Alberta no more than 15 months prior to the commencement of classes at Okanagan College

• applicants must be international students paying international student fees;

Canadian citizens and landed immigrants are not eligible for this award but are invited to visit www.okanagan.bc.ca for details of available Financial Aid & Awards

• applicants must meet Okanagan College admission requirements and be enrolledon a full-time basis in any ESL, university transfer, degree, diploma, vocational, trades or health certificate program at any Okanagan College campus

• following graduation from high school applicants must not have subsequentlyattended post-secondary studies at a college or university

• to be eligible for this award, applications must be submitted directly by thestudent and not by an educational advising service or agency

*$500 per four-month semester to a maximum of two consecutive semesters.
