Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Years 1 & 2
Program Overview
Okanagan College, in partnership with the University of British Columbia, Okanagan (UBCO) is now offering years one and two of the four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The curriculum for this four-year degree program is based on the Collaboration for Academic Education in Nursing (CAEN) curriculum and is recognized by the College of Registered Nurses of BC (CRNBC).
As a nursing student at Okanagan College, you will acquire nursing knowledge and gain practical experience in a new state-of-the-art Health Simulation Lab. Students will benefit from a learning environment that supports small class sizes, problem-based learning, and the fostering of collegial and inter-professional relationships.
Students who successfully complete all courses in years one and two at Okanagan College will be fully prepared to transfer to, and guaranteed admission, into the BSN program at UBCO to complete the final two years of the program.
