Health Care Assistant Certificate
This six-month program prepares students to work with individuals at home, in assisted-living settings, or continuing care facilities. The program covers concepts relating to personal care, communication, socialization, nutrition, health and wellness. Caring for individuals with cognitive changes is also included.
Career Opportunities: Graduates of this program may obtain employment in home support agencies and institutional settings.
Program Description

Theory and practice related to personal care, nutrition, safety, communication, socialization, health and wellness are covered. Caring for individuals with cognitive changes is also included. Attendance at a program information day is strongly recommended. Applicants will be notified of the exact date.
