If you have a special learning need these courses may be just what you are looking for.

  • INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS
    Basic Academic Skills, Computer Skills, Life Skills

  • PACE PROGRAM
    Preparing for Access to Careers and Education
    A one year career exploration/work experience program

  • SAME PROGRAM
    Supported Access to Modified Education (PACE is a pre-requisite)
    A supported inclusion program that helps qualified students access certain modified Okanagan College programs

How to Apply

To be a student in Adult Special Education courses or programs, students must:

  • Have an interview with the instructor
  • Be 19 years old (or 18 years of age with a school leaving certificate)
  • Want to learn
  • Have the ability to work and learn in small group settings
  • Have a special learning need (documentation may be required)
