The ILT is a collection of faculty, instructors, administrators and staff who act to support the development of a culture at Okanagan College that empowers dialogue, builds trust, and supports collaboration among peers. The ILT operates through an innovative peer-led approach devoted to helping new and veteran employees reflect on and enhance their learning and teaching practices.

Winter 2010
Feb 22 (MON) The Institute Lunch and Learn welcomes Jane Muskens, Interim Registrar of Okanagan College who will present "A Global perspective on post secondary education and why what you do counts". Education has a far greater impact on our country, our lives and even our happiness. See how Canada compares with other countries and why your job is a part of a much bigger picture.
Mar 8 (MON) The Institute Lunch and Learn welcomes Glen Coulthard, Business Okanagan College who will present "Social Media in Teaching and Learning".
Mar 29 (MON) The Institute Lunch and Learn presents "Tips and Techniques for Classroom Instruction"(Film). After the film, Rob Kjarsgaard, Coordinator of Okanagan College's ILLT, will lead a discussion on teaching techniques, and as well, will present an update on the ILLT.
Apr 12 (MON) The Institute Lunch and Learn welcomes James Coble, Aboriginal Access and Services Coordinator Kelowna Campus, whose presentation is titled "Diversity".
