Adult Basic Education Student Assistance Program (ABESAP)

The Adult Basic Education Student Assistance Program provides grants to assist with direct educational costs (tuition, supplies and if applicable transportation & unsubsidized child care) for students enrolled in programs such as:

  • Academic Upgrading
  • English Language Training
  • Adult Special Education

*ABESAP applications for programs starting after April 1, 2012 are currently not available. For more information, please contact the Welcome Centre at the Kelowna campus.

Once available, students are to complete the application form in full and submit it to the Welcome Centre/Financial Aid & Awards office at the Kelowna Campus where eligibility will be determined. If you are attending a campus other than Kelowna you may return your form to your campus administration office and your form will be forwarded to Kelowna for assessment.
