The Program
The BBA degree is a four-year credential. The first two years involve completing a broad business foundation as well as speciality courses. The final two years include both business and non-business courses and emphasizes small business in Canada. The BBA program offer a broadening experience that is important for the development of a well-rounded and knowledgeable businessperson.
Bachelor of Business Administration Option Information
Employment Focus
BBA graduates of the Business Administration Program at OC meet and exceed the requirements of most business to expand their workforce. Students are well versed in both the practical and theoretical aspects of all business operations with additional specialization within a field of interest. The BBA Degree prepares graduates to work in the Services, Financial, Accounting, Hospitality, Retailing, Wholesaling and Manufacturing Industries and specifically aids those who wish to work in, or operate, their own small business.
Co-operative Education Work Experience
Students who satisfy the eligibility criteria will have an opportunity to gain valuable work experience by participating in paid co-op work terms. Such experience increases students’ employment opportunities and their value to their employers upon graduation.
Suggested Work Terms
Co-op students are available on a year-round basis with 4 month work terms starting in May, September and January. Back to back work terms for 8 and 12 month periods may also be arranged.
