Catch the Wave…And Use the On-Line Web Requisition
Goals of the Purchasing department Supply Management Services’ approach is simple - add value, reduce duplication and develop delivery plans that service all regions in a timely and efficient manner. The department’s strengths are: continued collaboration, an ability to forecast, manage technology and react quickly to the changing requirements of Okanagan College.
The Okanagan College Purchasing Department’s goal is to achieve the highest standard of procurement while developing strong relationships with suppliers who provide a wide range of goods and services at the best possible value to the institution. This goal can best be met through an open consultative partnership between the Purchasing Department and staff.
The goal is threefold:- To support the academic, administrative, and operational activities of the College by locating competitive sources of the quality goods and services required by the College community.
- To negotiate favourable terms, conditions, and pricing and to arrange for delivery when and as required.
- To monitor supplier compliance with purchase order contracts and resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
Check out the Purchasing website for more information or contact
Purchasing if you have any questions or require Web Requisition assistance.
We would like your comments or concerns, and will gladly answer any questions you may have related to the areas for which the Purchasing Department is responsible.
Follow this link to a feedback form.
Psssstt!!! Want to have faster printing turnaround and save money, too?
Print Services would like to encourage staff to submit print requests electronically. Just attach your document (preferably in .pdf format) to an e-mail and provide the details normally set out on the print request form – i.e. number of copies, single- or double-sided, delivery instructions, FOAPAL, etc. Send the e-mail to
CopyShop@okanagan.bc.ca. This will save time and money since there will be no need to fill out a Print Request Form as the print details are on the e-mail and a hard copy of the document will not be required.
