SIFE Okanagan - Student and Faculty Presentation

This is a unique opportunity to learn about the activities and community projects of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) - Okanagan. SIFE is a student run organization operating on over 60 campuses in Canada and over 40 countries around the world.

The students implement projects that address major needs in their communities (for example, hunger awareness, financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills development, environmental sustainability), helping to improve their quality of life and standard of living. Students then have a chance to compete (regionally, natioanally and internationally) on the type of projects they operate and the impact or difference they are making.

SIFE Okanagan is open to all students across all campuses at Okanagan College. Diversity in the program adds richness to the projects and helps identify unique needs in our community. Staff and faculty are also needed to help mentor and guide the work of the students.

Members of the SIFE Okanagan team will be presenting from 12-12:30 each day at Connections in PC113 (the demonstration lab).
