What does it mean when I’ve been dropped from a course?

If you have received an email indicating that your course has been dropped, it is because a prerequisite check has been performed and the prerequisite course has not been found on your record. You may also be dropped from a course if you haven’t paid your fees. This does not apply to distance education courses and programs as all fees are due at the time of registration. If this information is incorrect, please contact the Registrar’s Office.

When and how do I get a tax receipt?

When are my fees due and what happens if I don’t pay on time?

In general, fees are due three weeks before classes begin. There are several ways to pay your fees. The most convenient way is online through your bank by creating Okanagan College as a payee and using your student ID number as your account number. Visit www.okanagan.bc.ca/feepayment for all payment options and deadlines.

Students who don’t pay their fees on time may be removed from their courses and taken off waitlists but will still be responsible for the fees. Those seats will then be made available to other students. This does not apply to distance education courses and programs as all fees are due at the time of registration.
