Elementary Schools - register your student(s) at:

**Affiliation fees required to register: 

         1. Basic $50/school includes two students and $15/each additional student. 
         2. Full $200/school – unlimited student registration. 

Registered Students receive a SkillsBC T-shirt, pizza @ lunch, entry into draw prizes, participation certificates, and those who achieve Gold, Silver or Bronze receive medals and awards certificates.  Gold medalists are also eligible to compete at the Provincials on April 5 in Abbotsford.  To find out about funding options for gold medalists contact Patti Ostrikoff postrikoff@okanagan.bc.ca.

  • Note:  Teams to consist of 2 students and we will house up to 32 teams (when spots are full no more registrations will be approved).  All medalists are eligible to compete at the Provincial Level!​

Welcome and introduction to competition facilitators (competitors then go off with facilitators).

11:00am  Competition Begins
12:30pm 

Ceremonies begin when medalists have been determined – this is an approximate time and will depend on how many teams have registered.

  • Loading platforms can be order and pick up arranged through Dianne Holm dholm@okanagan.bc.ca
  • Tech Chair's assistant - Michelle Lowry mlowry@okanagan.bc.ca please contact Michelle with any build questions
  • Note:  Teams to consist of 2-4 students and we will house up to 48 teams (when spots are full no more registrations will be approved.
  • There will be a repair station and storage area set up in the Trades Complex Atrium.

Welcome and introduction to competition facilitators (Spaghetti Bridge competitors will need to register after the welcome.

10:45-11:15am

Check in at the Trades Complex Atrium – receive t-shirts and ticket for lunch 

11:30am Meet Facilitator - if you missed the Welcome ask at the Check in booth. Facilitator will be with teams to set up, confirm weights and will return teams the Trades Atrium for lunch and then ceremonies.
12:00pm
Judging begins
 in the Theatre.  Facilitator will put teams in order and manage the weights sheet. Return after judging with facilitator for Lunch in the Trades Atrium 
12:30pm

Ceremonies begin after the judging and when medalists have had their lunch. This is an approximate time and will depend on how many teams have registered.
