Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprenticeship

A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic is a person who fabricates, installs, alters, repairs/ services any system used for cooling and/or heating (i.e. heat pumps) in closed systems that contain a refrigerant or a brine and thermoelectric cooling. Apprentices are required to attend a total of 26 weeks of technical training over this 4 year apprenticeship.

Outcome:
 
Successful completion grants the apprentice with the Certificate of Qualification as a Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic.

Achieving your Red Seal Endorsement (RSE) will provide you with a set of nationally recognized and transferable skills that will provide you with an opportunity for employment across Canada.
