Welders help build the world!

In fields from construction to car racing and manufacturing, welders use their skills to fuse metal together, to the proper specifications and strength.  Welders take serious pride in their work and at Okanagan College our instructors help students build the skills and confidence they need to complete job's properly and to find employment.

Program Details:
  28 weeks
Day Intake,
Monday - Friday  7:30 am - 2:30 pm
Evening Intake,
Tuesday - Friday (Evening Shift)
Tues-Thurs 2:30 pm - 10030 pm
Friday 12:00 pm - 7:30 pm 

Outcomes:  Graduates from this program will receive an Industry Training Authority Certificate of Completion, technical training credit for Welder Level 1 and Level 2 and 300 work-based hours once registered as a Welder apprentice.

Career Opportunities:
  Welders often work in manufacturing, fabrication, steel construction and repair within oil, gas, mining, forestry, construction industries and shipyards.
