Spa Target Marketing
Creating a spa program and menu that appeals to your target market is essential to business success. We will discuss how to identify a target market and how to develop a successful spa program that suits your target clients. Find out why demographics are important and learn about what’s trending now and how to stay current in the business. Students learn about all the different services they can offer, and will create their own spa program and menu.

Learn how to utilize your spa/salon space efficiently. This course examines the concept of square footage, “wet rooms” vs. “dry rooms,” and topics such as licenses, regulation, and zoning. You will have the opportunity to create a layout drawing of the space you envision as your spa.

This course focuses on the equipment needed to perform the services you want to offer, and on how to hire and develop staff with the knowledge and abilities to perform those services. Learn how to conduct effective interviews and pick up tips and techniques for having difficult conversations.

Spa Packaging & Branding
Learn how to package and brand your spa or salon vision. As a group we will brainstorm ideas and create a marketing plan. Each participant will build their own 12-month marketing calendar including special events and holiday promotions. The importance of retailing with techniques to motivate staff to “sell” is also covered.
