International Development Diploma Program

The International Development Diploma is designed for students who are interested in working with organizations involved in development projects across the globe.
The program provides students with an opportunity to engage with current global issues such as poverty; environmental degradation; racial and gender discrimination; corruption and lack of economic and financial transparency; and political deficiency.

Upon successful completion of this program, students will acquire a multidisciplinary understanding of the current issues in international development and learn to apply appropriate techniques to analyze the issues and problems of development in the global context.  For more information about entrance requirements, program requirements, and courses please visit the OC Calendar here.

IntDevNightOn April 5th, 2017 Okanagan College's Political Science department members teamed up with local groups to host International Development night. This event celebrated the role of Okanagan individuals and organizations in creating a better world, one step at a time, through international humanitarian actions, aid and development efforts worldwide.
