In both public and private organizations, you’ll be increasingly called upon to perform specialized investigations, supervision, and enforcement and regulatory compliance functions. The Bachelor of Law Enforcement Studies (BLES), offered at Okanagan College’s Penticton campus in partnership with the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC), positions you to be a preferred candidate in a highly competitive recruiting environment.

Program Description
Graduates of the program gain an in-depth knowledge of the Canadian criminal justice system, contemporary criminal justice issues, criminological explanations of crime as well as analysis and reasoning skills informed by theory and research. This comprehensive education program will prepare graduates to contribute within a variety of criminal justice and public safety professions.

Admission Requirements
Graduates of Okanagan College’s Criminal & Social Justice Diploma program who meet minimum admission requirements can continue their studies into the third-year of the Bachelor of Law Enforcement Studies program.
