HZ University of Applied Sciences, Vlissingen

HZ is a university of professional education in the Netherlands. Unlike the traditional academic universities, its programs focus on practical application of learning rather than theory. HZ is a medium–sized university with enrolments of about 3,000 students. Several hundred of these students are from other countries. HZ is located in the province of Zeeland, in the city of Vlissingen, in the southwest of the Netherlands.
