What is the OCAC?

The Okanagan College Accounting Club (OCAC) is a student run not-for-profit organization that aims to enhance students' campus life and connect them with local accounting professionals.

Situated in the beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia, the OCAC started in 2011 at Okanagan College.

Students have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge of the accounting profession through participation in workshops, volunteering, and networking with industry and public practice professionals.

OCAC organizes:

  • How-to workshop programs,
  • CPA Information sessions,
  • Volunteering opportunities through the CRA's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP),
  • Informal and formal networking events with accounting professionals.

All students with an interest in accounting are encouraged to attend, participate, and become actively involved with OCAC events and committees.
