The Office Assistant Certificate provides you with the employable and hands-on skills you need to excel in a business office. Learn about the fundamentals of office administration including computer essentials, office procedures, records management, business math, word processing, and spreadsheets. Graduation from the Office Assistant Certificate will prepare you for immediate employment in administration or will provide you with direct entry into Okanagan College's accounting, medical, or legal assistant certificate.

Gain essential business skills including administrative office procedures, manual and computerized accounting, payroll, business correspondence and effective Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Publisher skills. Graduation from the Administrative Assistant Certificate will prepare you for immediate employment in administration or will provide you with the direct entry into Okanagan College’s medical or legal assistant certificates.
