Thinking of starting College this fall? Join us for an evening to learn more about starting your post-secondary studies and the programs available at Okanagan College’s Vernon campus.
 
Instructors, recruiters, current students, and alumni will be on hand to answer your questions, helping you make the choice that’s right for your goals. At Okanagan College you will benefit from smaller class sizes, affordable tuition, free tutoring, the experience of knowledgeable professors, and much more.

The Freshman 15
6 p.m. Lecture Theatre

This session will provide the 15 most essential pieces of information and tips that all future students and their parents need to know before starting post-secondary.

  • Registering vs. applying
  • Starting at OC then transferring to university
  • How to prepare for college
  • Admissions process
  • And much more!  
Arts and Science Programs Session

7 p.m. Lecture Theatre
 
This informative session will share details about the value of an Arts and Science education and how these disciplines prepare students with the essential skills applicable to a wide spectrum of exciting careers. You will hear about how students can start their degree at Okanagan College and transfer to other post-secondary institutions across B.C. and Canada. Hear about the wide variety of Arts and Science courses offered at OC as well as the services available to students on campus.

Business Programs

7 p.m. Room E102/103
 
Open the doors to a brighter future and an exhilarating career in Business. Did you know: 97 per cent of Okanagan College School of Business graduates are employed within 6 months of graduation? Learn more about the business degree, diploma and certificates available at the Vernon campus, specialization options, the types of jobs they lead to, and the employers that hire OC graduates. Information about co-op and study abroad opportunities will also be provided.

No pre-registration is necessary for any of the sessions.
Parking will be free that evening and light refreshments will be provided.
