Mission Statement & Purpose

Okanagan College Foundation advances the power of education by engaging individuals and communities in contributing to Okanagan College.

We contribute to Okanagan College by:

• Helping students with scholarships, bursaries, awards and other financial supports.
• Building relationships with donors.
• Supporting capital projects and programs.
• Managing financial resources responsibly and ethically.

 
The Okanagan College Foundation stimulates support from alumni, friends, corporations and foundations to enable students to participate in learning at Okanagan College, the largest college in British Columbia east of the Lower Mainland.

Incorporated in 2000, the Okanagan College Foundation raises and manages private resources for the development and expansion of educational programs, services, capital projects, and student financial aid through scholarships, bursaries, and grants.

The Foundation is dedicated to assisting the College in building endowments and supporting the long-term academic and other strategic priorities of the College and to foster public knowledge and awareness of Okanagan College and the economic and social benefits that Okanagan College provides to the people of British Columbia.
