I am very pleased to be the new Regional Dean at the vibrant South Okanagan-Similkameen region. The region includes the areas bounded by Princeton to the west, Osoyoos to the south and Summerland to the north. I would like to encourage you to go through our website and discover the unique programs and opportunities that are available. Feel free to contact me if you would like to share some ideas on how we can continue to grow the diversity of programs and services delivered here in the region.

Okanagan College’s Penticton Campus many educational opportunities including university transfer Arts and Science courses, Business Administration programs, Adult Upgrading,
Literacy programs, Practical Nursing, Sustainable Construction Management Technology, Human Kinetics, Criminal and Social Justice, Trades and Apprentice programs and Continuing Studies certificate programs including Wine Sales and Wine Tasting. In September, we
introduced our new two-year Viticulture Technician diploma here on campus.
We have a growing student population but still offer smaller classes and an excellent and dedicated faculty and friendly staff. To support students in achieving their educations goals we offer many student services, including Student Advisors, Accessibility services, Counseling,
First Nations services, a Student Success Centre and a full-service library.

The College’s education centers in Oliver and Summerland offer students opportunities to take classes closer to home. Continuing Studies courses and certificate programs provide students of all ages with excellent learning opportunities.

The Penticton campus is home to the Jim Pattison Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Building Technologies and Renewable Energy Conservation. In 2016, this building was recognized by Corporate Knights Magazine as the greenest structure in Canada's
post-secondary built environment.
