Transfer

Already started your education elsewhere but want to transfer to Okanagan College? Jump to Transferring Courses to see how it works or continue and explore.

Generally transfer students are admitted based on their transcript from another college or university. At Okanagan College we assess each transfer student individually to determine which courses you can transfer in.

High school courses and grades come into effect when you need to show that you completed a specific high school course such as Principles of Mathematics 12 or Biology 12 for program admission. This would happen if you transferred from a general Arts program and now want to switch to nursing.

Transfer students require a grade average of 50 percent per course to be granted transfer credit.

A bonus for you as a transfer student is by transferring to Okanagan College, only your credit gets transferred - not your grades. This practice can really help you if your grades might not have been as high as you like or need.
