Equivalent High School Courses - Canada

Applicants educated outside of B.C. are required to present qualifications equivalent to those required for B.C. students. Applicants must present competitive grades in program specific prerequisite subjects, which vary by program. See the calendar for your program requirements.

Please note that Okanagan College reserves the right to be the final arbitrator of what will be accepted on an equivalency basis.

Instructions for using the charts below:

1. Look up the B.C. course required for your program.
2. Select your province or territory. If yours is not listed, please contact admissions to find out about course equivalencies.
3. Find the equivalent course(s).
4. If no equivalent course is listed, we may not have evaluated your province's or territory's course. Please contact admissions to find out more.
5. Advanced Placement courses may be substituted for required courses.
