Application Checklist

Before applying for admission, please make sure you have all the required information handy. Our application form cannot be saved half way through the application process. If you have everything ready when you start, applying is a breeze.

What you need to fill out the application form:

Name: please use your given legal first and last name. Include any previous names (ie. maiden/former name) if you have attended the College previously.

Okanagan College ID Number: if you have ever applied to or attended the College, you have a nine digit ID number. Most IDs start with "300" or "800".

Address & Phone Numbers: including your postal code, email address and phone numbers. We will require the area code and country code if outside of North America.  

Biographic Information: this includes your SIN number - if you have one - and your Country of Citizenship (the country issued or would issue you a passport.)

Emergency Contact: name, email and phone number including area and country code.

Program: you may apply to more than one program while completing your application. The application form will also give you all available options for campus, start date and full-time or part-time studies.

Academic History: we will ask for your high school name, dates of attendance and grade or credential completed. We will require the same details for any post-secondary school you attended such as a college or university. You have to add at least one high school - you don't have to have graduated - or the application cannot be submitted.

PEN Number: if you attended or are currently attending high school in BC or the Yukon and you have a nine digit Provincial Education Number (PEN), we ask you to provide it.

Freedom of Information: due to privacy regulations, we are not allowed to give out information about you and your courses or even confirm or deny that you are attending Okanagan College or how much tuition you owe unless you specifically include the person's full name in this section. Many students include their parents' names.

Application Fee: the application fee is $30 and is non-refundable. You may apply for different programs and multiple intakes for the $30 fee. Payment can be made once the application form is completed by credit card: VISA, MasterCard or American Express.
