Counselling

Counselling

Counselling Services supports your educational success at Okanagan College. We will help you to achieve clarity, direction and efficacy in your personal, academic and career paths so that you may fully participate in and benefit from your educational experience. We offer the following three types of counselling. Please note that some services are only available to you once you start your studies.

Personal Counselling:
One of the most helpful ways of dealing with problematic situations and feelings is to talk them through with an experienced counsellor. Counsellors are available to you once you begin your studies.

We offer short-term counselling regarding personal problems that may interfere with your ability to meet your educational goals. If you are experiencing depression, loneliness, anxiety, anger, substance use or any other type of personal issue, we encourage you to access our services. If you require services that we cannot provide, we will assist with a referral to an appropriate resource.
Career Counselling:
We provide a number of services that can assist you in the career decision making process. If you are not an OC student yet, some of the services may not be available to you. Contact us to find out what we have to offer!

Education Advising or Career Counselling?
