Counsellors and Career Advisors

Our team is here to help you guide your students through a successful transition to post-secondary, into a trade, technology, health, science, arts, continuing studies or foundational program.

We can help you set up tours for your students to one of our campuses, arrange the experience of being a Student for a Day, bring a Spotlight Session to your school, and provide information about Okanagan College through a visit to you. Recruiters are available to help students explore the possibilities available to them at Okanagan College.

Visit a Campus

Our recruiters are available to give tours to prospective students. Either individually or as a group, come to the campus you are interested in to find out more about services, programs and get a feel for our campuses. To book a tour, please contact us at chooseoc@okanagan.bc.ca.

Student for a Day

Do you have students who are interested in one of our programs but not quite sure it’s the right one for them? We offer students the opportunity to come to College for a day and shadow one of our students. This opportunity is only available to senior secondary students. Contact the recruiter in the region your student would like to be a Student for a Day.

Spotlight Sessions

Interested in having an instructor from an Okanagan College program run a session at your school? Recruiters help arrange this. These sessions give students an opportunity to experience a program, by having a potential instructor come into the class and give an introductory lesson in the programs subject matter. Students gain an understanding of what the program is like and help them decide if they are interested in pursuing the program. Contact the recruiter in your region to see what programs are available to spotlight. If you have a particular program in mind, let the recruiter know when you contact them.
