How to Submit Interims

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Interim Grades:

An interim high school transcript of grades (or BC Diploma Verification Record – BC DVR for BC/Yukon high school students) is required.

The deadline date to submit your interim transcript or BC DVR is February 28, 2017 by 4:30 p.m.

Speak with your high school counsellor or office to have these interim transcripts submitted by fax 250-862-5466, mailed to Okanagan College Admissions, 1000 KLO Rd, Kelowna, BC  V1Y 4X8, emailed as a pdf attachment to admissions@okanagan.bc.ca or your school may choose to put it into a sealed school envelope and the student may then bring it to the College in person.  

Please make sure that: 

  • Interim grades must be issued on or after February 6.
  • All final and/or interim grades have been submitted for all academic courses.
  • If not, see each of your teachers and have them enter the current grade percentage and initial beside their entry on the transcript.
  • Take back to your school counsellor or office and have them submit the interim by one of the methods listed above.
  • These grades must be submitted by the high school in any one of the methods listed above.  Anything submitted that has been opened by the student will not be accepted.

Every academic course must have a grade (either an interim or a final grade). If there is no grade, the GPA cannot be calculated and you would then be considered inadmissible. Your application will be cancelled. Cancelled applications will not be reactivated.

The deadline date to have your interim grades submitted is February 28, 2017 by 4:30 p.m.

Have your post-secondary institution professor, instructor or teacher submit a pdf attachment to admissions@okanagan.bc.ca of any and all ABE interim percentage grades. For Biology and Chemistry courses, this percentage grade must also include the lab.

Please make sure that:

  • Interim grades must be issued on or after February 6.
  • You see each of your teachers, instructors or professors to have them submit your interim ABE grade(s) by the method above.
  • These grades must be submitted by the secondary/post-secondary institution. Anything coming otherwise will not be accepted.

Every academic course must have a grade (either an interim or final grade). If there is no grade, the GPA cannot be calculated and you would then be considered as inadmissible. Your application will be cancelled. Cancelled applications will not be reactivated.

Interim grades are only required for upgrading courses. The deadline date to have your interim grades submitted is February 28, 2017 by 4:30 p.m.

Have your post-secondary institution submit an official final or interim transcript showing proof of enrolment in or completion of required courses for your program. If enrolled in upgrading courses, an interim percentage grade is required for upgrading courses only. Interim grades are not required for university transfer (UT) courses in progress.

Have your post-secondary institution professor or instructor, or teacher submit by pdf attachment to admissions@okanagan.bc.ca any and all ABE interim percentage grades. For Biology and Chemistry courses, this percentage grade must also include the lab.

All official sealed transcripts are required by February 28, 2017 by 4:30 p.m.

Order your transcripts from your post-secondary institution to be sent to Okanagan College Admissions, 1000 KLO Road, Kelowna, BC  V1Y 4X8.

Note: OUC/OC students do not need to submit their transcript as Admissions has access to your records.

If not submitted by February 28, 2017 by 4:30 p.m., your application will be cancelled. Cancelled applications will not be reactivated.
